Sharing Our Faith and Cultural Heritage – Open Mosque Day
An Invitation to Explore, Learn, and Connect — The Geelong Mosque warmly invites residents of all faiths and none to join its Open Mosque Day on Saturday, February 07, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This initiative aims to foster dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect among diverse communities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Explore the mosque’s unique architecture and rich history
- Q & A with Imam
- Enjoy guided tours and free refreshments/BBQ.
- Henna art and hijab demonstration for sisters.
- Engage children in art activities designed to celebrate cultural diversity
