Assalmu Alykum, dear community members,
Following the announcement of the Australian Nation Imam Council (ANIC), The Holy Month of Ramadan for this year, 1445H- 2024, will commence on Tuesday, March 12th 2024. The first night of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Taraweeh Prayer will be Monday, March 11th 2024, after Sunset (After Isha).
InshAllah, the First Taraweeh will be at the Geelong Mosque on Monday, March 11th, 2024, after the Esha Salah (09:17 pm). The arrangements will be made accordingly for those who follow moonsighting and the Turkyie calendar.
InsAllah, there will be Quran Tasfeer each night after the Taraweeh Salah and morning group Quran recitation after the Fajr Salah. Like in previous years, there will be daily iftars for the international students and revert Muslims. Those who want to contribute, please get in touch with the management. Please see the attached calendar.
Please remember those oppressed and experiencing hardships and unwell and died in your duas. May Allah bless this Holy Month for you, your family, the Australian Muslim community and the entire Muslim world and may your worship and fasting be accepted this year. AMEEN
