The Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Mohammed and the Australian Fatwa Council have announced that:
Saturday, 15th June 2024, will be the Day of Arafah (9th of Thul Hijjah) and Sunday, 16th of June 2024 (10th of Thul Hijjah) will be the Day of Eid Al-Adha for the Year 1445 – 2024.
This year, due to space constraints, parking challenges, and neighbours’ comfort, InshAllah, the Eid Al-Adha prayer will not be performed at the Masjid but at the venue below;
Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 07:45 AM, at Northern Aquatic and Community Hub, 1-9 Cox Road, Norlane, VIC 3214.
Separate prayer spaces are allocated for sisters!
Mindfulness:
- Arrive 15 – 20 minutes early.
- Wear modest clothing (we do appreciate diversity).
- Wudu at home and bring your prayer mat.
- Donate generously to the Masjid and those organisations that are assisting people in crisis.
- Make duas for those who have passed away, those experiencing hardship and oppression and the unity of the Muslim ummah.
May Allah (SWT) accept your Ibadah and Sacrificies. Eid Al-Adha Mubarak!
