The Australian Fatwa Council issued Eid Al-Fitr Statement for the Year 1444AH – 2023.
“Friday, 21st of April 2023, will be the last day of the Month of Ramadan 1444AH. The Day of Eid Al-Fitr will be on Saturday, 22nd of April 2023, and the first day of the Month of Shawwal 1444H.”
Therefore, at the Geelong Mosque, the Eid Al-Fitr Salaah will be on Saturday, 22nd of April 2023. InsAllah, there will be two (2) sessions.
- Session 1 – Eid Salah at 07:30 am
- Session 2 – Eid Salah at 08:30 am
Note: Turkiye and the Albanian community will celebrate Eid Al-Fitr on Friday, April 21, 2023. Eid Salah will be at 08:00 am at the Geelong Mosque.
Zikat Al-Fitr: We are collecting Zakat Al-Fitr at the Geelong Mosque. The Zakat Al-Fitr for the Month of Ramadan 14444-2023 is set to a Minimum at $17 Per Person (ANIC).
